Beyond the Bar is a daylong seminar focused on breaking down the Capitol's impact on businesses across Louisiana and explaining the politics of the moment. This practical workshop for those interested in politics and campaigns, lawyers, tax professionals and businesses leaders alike offer an educational alternative to the typical format of Continuing Education programs.  Attendees will hear from distinguished lawyers, business experts and policy specialist, focusing on the changes made by the courts, legislature and regulators. This year’s seminar will feature subject matter expertise in the fields of taxation, transportation, employer mandates and oil and gas litigation.

Continuing Education Credits

Beyond the BAR has been approved for TBA CLE credit hours. Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of ethics and 1 hour of professionalism.

Beyond the BAR has also been approved for TBA human resources credit hours.

CPAs can receive TBA CPE credit hours from Beyond the BAR.
